UkrSibbank, the Ukrainian subsidiary of the BNP Paribas Group, received the “Best Bank in Ukraine” award from the magazine Euromoney. In its July edition, the magazine rewarded the Ukrainian bank’s excellent results in a tumultuous economic and financial climate. UkrSibbank is now the third-largest bank in the country by assets, shareholders equity, and loan portfolio; as well as the leader in mortgage lending.

Euromoney stated : “Although PrivatBank and Raiffeisen Bank Aval are bigger, they cannot match UkrSibbank’s dynamism”.

BNP Paribas also received the “Best at Project Finance: Middle East” award. In this region, the bank held the key role of mandated lead arranger in the world’s largest independent power and water project. BNP Paribas was also lead arranger and bookrunner in debt financing for the Emirates Aluminium Project.
