BNP Paribas continues to expand its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives around the world by participating in initiatives focusing on supporting disadvantaged children.
In Bulgaria, BNP Paribas together with the Lycée Français “Victor Hugo” in Sofia organised a major collection of clothes and toys for children deprived from parential care. The goods are donated by students of the Lycée Français “Victor Hugo” and BNP Paribas and then delivered to orphanages and homes for handicapped children in Dren, Samokov and Mezdra.

This initiative adds to the numerous social projects of BNP Paribas Bulgaria which encourage the integration of the underprivileged children among which “One day out from the orphanage” and “Tennis for everybody”.

The project “One day out from the orphanage” “One day out from the orphanage” aims to support children, deprived from parental cares in social homes. This initiative allows children living in orphanages to enjoy a monthly recreational or cultural outing, such as visit to a museum, a circus, children’s theatre productions, sports activities, etc.

The program “Tennis for everybody” is a joint initiative of BNP Paribas and the Bulgarian Tennis Federation and consists of educational and social tennis programs implementing regular tennis lessons for orphans and handicapped children. With this initiative BNP Paribas and the Bulgarian Tennis Federation strengthen their activities in helping disadvantaged children to enjoy the pleasure and benefits of this healthy and motivating sport.
